Creating the Million Dollar Lasagna is straightforward if you follow these steps:
1. Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
2. Cook Noodles: In a large pot of salted boiling water, cook the lasagna noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
3. Prepare Meat Sauce: In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add ground beef and Italian sausage. Cook until browned. Drain excess fat.
4. Sauté Vegetables: Add chopped onion and minced garlic to the skillet. Sauté until onions are translucent.
5. Add Tomatoes: Stir in crushed tomatoes, tomato paste, sugar, basil, oregano, salt, and pepper. Let simmer for about 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
